Prof. Thomas Gasser, Chairman of the Board of directors at the HIH, has been awarded the world's highest scientific prize, the „2024 Breakthrough Prize in Life Sciences“, worth 3 million US dollars, for his groundbreaking achievements in Parkinson's research.
