Dieter Janz Prize 2024

Congratulations to Dr. Christian Boßelmann on winning the „Dieter Janz Prize 2024“ from the “Epilepsie-Stiftung Wolf“ and the German Society for Epileptology for his publication “Predicting functional effects of ion channel variants using new phenotypic machine learning methods” in PLOS Computational Biology.

The Dieter Janz Prize was founded in 2015 by the Epilepsie-Stiftung Wolf in coordination with the German Society for Epileptology to promote young epileptologists and is named after the important German epileptologist Dieter Janz (1920 – 2016).

The award goes to the best publication by a researcher under the age of 35 in an international journal in the previous 2 years. An independent jury decides on the winner.
