New somatic variant detection study in epilepsy

Dr. med. Christian Bosselmann, a Clinician-Scientist in Prof. Holger Lerche’s Department of “Neurology and Epileptology”, recently completed a Research Fellowship at the renowned Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, USA.

There, he led the largest somatic variant detection study in epilepsy to date, discovering two novel gene-disease associations for lesional focal epilepsy (LFE).
